Job Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist

RemX has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join a growing organization located in Knoxville, TN.
Hours: 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday
Start date: Immediate
Type: Temp or temporary to hire
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Process and verify accuracy of different types of invoices
- Maintain invoice approval flow
- For items not listed on a PO, verify receipt of them
- Report price discrepancies to Procurement
- Regular communication with suppliers
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Maintain and set up vendor records
- Maintain invoice approval workflow
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of recent Accounts Payable experience
- Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new applications quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reasoning and analytical skills
- Must be self-motivated, organized and able to manage priorities in a fast paced environment
