Operations Specialist

Location: Irving, TX ONSITE
Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Work Schedule

• Tuesday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to support daily logistics and transportation functions. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience within logistics or transportation and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent client and carrier interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Process shipments and manage all related activities for an assigned group of accounts
• Communicate daily with clients, carriers, and potential clients
• Book shipments and provide ongoing shipment tracking and updates
• Respond promptly to emails and operational inquiries
• Proactively deliver high-quality customer service
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Career-oriented, hard-working, and quick learner
• Excellent attention to detail and strong recall of information (events, numbers, processes)
• Proficient in personal computer use and standard office applications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to talk, hear, and use hands while operating computer and office equipment
• Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Job may require extended periods of sitting or standing
