Apprentice Commercial Door & Dock Technician

Looking to build a long-term career in a skilled trade? We’re hiring an Apprentice Door & Dock Technician to train alongside experienced technicians in the installation and repair of commercial overhead doors and dock equipment.

No overhead door experience required — we’re looking for someone hands-on, reliable, and eager to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with installation and service of commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, motors, and controls
• Help load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
• Support technicians on job sites and learn troubleshooting basics
• Pull and prepare orders for service and installation jobs
• Follow safety procedures and job site guidelines
• Gain hands-on experience using tools, lifts, and job site equipment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in construction or trade-related work, such as:
• • Siding, windows, or door installation
  • Insulation, vapor barriers
  • HVAC, electrical, or conduit work
• Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
• Mechanically inclined and eager to learn a trade
• Strong work ethic, dependable, and safety-focused
• Able to perform physical work (lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing, bending)
• Valid driver’s license required – must pass MVR
