- Position: Medical Insurance Verification Specialist
- Pay: $17.00/hour + Benefits (Full-Time)
- Start Dates: October and November
- Work From Home: Company equipment provided. Must be able to pick up equipment in Irving, Texas
- Schedule: Assigned 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST
- Must be available to work any assigned shift within operating hours
- Location: Open to U.S. residents only
- Comprehensive Training: Receive the tools, support, and resources needed to succeed
Key Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for prescription medications
- Assist patients in obtaining coverage and navigating insurance requirements
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, insurance carriers, guarantors, and healthcare partners
- Research accounts and document activities using call center software
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve coverage issues and obtain necessary information
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company quality standards
- Meet established productivity and performance metrics
Qualifications
*** Must be able to Pick up equipment in Irving, Texas.
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits experience (required, no exceptions)
- Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and learn new software quickly
- Dedicated, secure, and distraction-free workspace
- High-speed internet with hardwired modem connection
- Hotspots are not permitted
Preferred but Not Required:
- Call center experience
- Experience managing high-volume call environments
