Position Summary

This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and improving automated manufacturing equipment and integrated production systems. You’ll support daily uptime performance, reduce downtime, and help implement improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and reliability throughout the facility.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain PLC, CNC, robotic, and automated manufacturing equipment
• Develop and implement equipment improvements to support production goals
• Respond to machine downtime and perform root cause analysis
• Create reports, charts, and action plans to address equipment issues and verify corrective actions
• Assist with procurement of machinery, components, fixtures, and replacement parts
• Support capital improvement projects and maintenance budgeting activities
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs
• Train and mentor maintenance and production personnel on equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to improve performance and reliability
• Support safety initiatives, 5S activities, and continuous improvement efforts
• Establish repair procedures and operational standards to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in a related technical field preferred
• 2-4 years of maintenance, automation, or controls experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, CNC machinery, and industrial automation systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
