Position Highlights

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST
- Must be flexible to work any assigned shift within operating hours
Key Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for prescription medications
- Assist patients with questions related to medication coverage
- Make and receive calls with patients, insurance providers, payors, and pharmacies
- Research accounts and accurately document information in company systems
- Contact insurance companies to obtain benefit and coverage details
- Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits verification experience
- Experience working with medical claims, prior authorizations, or insurance eligibility
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously
Preferred:
- Call center experience
- Experience handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
