Position Details
- 100% Remote
- Pay: $17.00/hour
- Projected Start Date: Early November
- Equipment Provided (pickup required in Irving, TX)
- Full-Time Hours
- No Weekends
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent medical insurance experience
- Patient-focused, empathetic, and compassionate approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously
- Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday
- No time off permitted during the first 90 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound insurance verification calls
- Verify insurance benefits, coverage eligibility, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses
- Assist patients with enrollment and program qualification processes
- Research and resolve insurance-related issues
- Accurately document patient interactions and account updates
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance carriers
- Maintain confidentiality while delivering exceptional customer service
