IMMEDIATE opening for an LVN to provide nursing care under the supervision of RNs and Physicians. Will take, record and monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, assist with medical procedures, and educate patients on care plans. Playing a crucial role in delivering patient care, other duties include:

  • Provide medical information and education to patients, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Document patient information, assessment and nursing procedures following established protocols
  • Explain purpose and process of examinations, tests and medical procedures to patients
  • Instruct patients on general health and basic self-care procedures
  • Review, explain and clarify physician orders with patient
  • Instruct patient in use of home equipment
  • Follow standard infection control procedures
  • Observe machine monitors
  • Administer inhalation therapy
  • Participate in development of nursing care plans
  • Prepare patients for physical examinations
  • Complete laboratory, radiology requisitions and specialized test forms
  • Notify appropriate personnel of abnormal lab test results
  • Answer patient inquiries
  • Observe patient condition for reactions during and after procedures
  • Perform EKGs
  • Assist patients with ambulation and exercises, following established protocols
  • Schedule, cancel and reschedule patient appointments
  • Initiate follow up appointments with patients
  • Provide patient information to family members, following patient confidentiality guidelines
  • Screen patient calls and take messages for providers
  • Respond to requests for information

Job Requirements:

  • Valid LVN License for the State of California
  • 2-4 yrs relevant exp
  • BLS Certification by American Heart Association
  • Experience in outpatient clinic
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Preferred: ambulatory cardiology
  • Preferred: EPIC experience

IMMEDIATE opening for a Department Supervisor to oversee a small group of staff members (8-12). The highly organized and collaborative Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures, managing budgets, and developing staff. The successful candidate will be an integral part of ensuring the efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of healthcare services within their respective departments. 

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining patient care standards.
  • Maintain patient care and quality service standards, acting as a patient advocate, and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist in monitoring budgets, managing resource allocation, and identifying strategies to reduce costs while improving quality.
  • Determine appropriate staffing levels, recruiting, hiring, training, and providing ongoing staff development.
  • Work closely with physicians, department chiefs, and other managers to ensure coordinated and efficient service delivery

Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years with staff supervisory experience
  • Experience working within EPIC EHR (electronic health record) System
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Highly versatile and resourceful team player with the ability to also be effectively independent
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response
