We are seeking a Charge Nurse to join a gastroenterology practice. We offer a work/life balance and perks for our valuable employees! The successful candidate will coordinate daily unit operations, assign patient workloads, mentor junior staff, manage patient flow and ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Staff Management: Delegate tasks, make shift assignments, adjust staffing ratios, handle shift scheduling for the floor.
• Patient Flow: Facilitate the transition of care for admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.
• Clinical Support: Act as a clinical resource, mentor, and emergency support for floor nurses, junior staff, and patients' families.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure strict adherence to hospital policies, health and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Unit Operations: Oversee medical supply orders, addressing conflicts, and acting as the primary liaison between nurses and upper clinical management.
Required:
