Job Opening: Medical Assistant (Surgical Tech)

IMMEDATE opening for a Medical Assistant or Surgical Tech to provide back-office support. The friendly and efficient MA/Surgical Tech will prepare ORs, sterilize equipment, and maintain a sterile environment, ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery.

• Room patients and document all vitals.

• Draw blood, remove sutures and administer injections.

• Provide post-op wound care to patients.

• Schedule patient appointments.

• Assist with various procedures.

• Clean and stock exam rooms.

Required:

• Certified Medical Assistant preferred

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a medical office as a medical assistant or surgical tech

• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed

• Proficient with computers (MS Office and EMR Systems)

• Organizational skills and effective written & verbal communications

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well individually and as part of a team 

• Helpful: dermatology experience
